Steve Hardon, Team Lead of Territory Management
We’re featuring Steve Hardon, Team Lead of Territory Management in this week’s Team Member Tuesday. “My favorite thing about Travelers Haven is the emphasis on individual ownership. Team members are encouraged to share their ideas to help the company and when they do, their ideas are listened to and the team works to figure out the solutions. There are several people around the office who have seen a gap in our processes and developed a new role to address it. I believe that Travelers Haven’s focus on individual ownership is essential in fostering growth and understanding, allowing members of the team to hold each other accountable and the autonomy to work on creating solutions when they see problems,” explained Steve.
Steve is a Colorado native. He attended college at Colorado State where he studied Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and Management. Hardon is a major sports nerd, he loves going to sporting events and playing a variety of sports when he gets the chance. Steve married his wife Kenzie in January 2019. They live in Denver with their two dogs, Mack and Lucy. Steve spends his weekend snowboarding, hiking, at the dog parks, or lounging around. Harden joined Travelers Haven two and a half years ago as a Territory Manager and has advanced to the Team Lead in that short time.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
Something people may not know about me is that I was once on SportsCenter! Unfortunately, the story is a lot less cool than it may seem. My brother and I were at a bowl game for the CSU football team and due to my brother’s outfit (he always dressed up as a green and gold Iron Man, “Iron Ram” for football games) as well as the intense finish to the game, we were featured both on the lead in as well as the highlights of that game. The camera may have been focused on him, but being in the corner of that shot is a claim to fame nonetheless!
Where’s one place you wish you traveled?
One place I am dying to travel is Thailand. My wife and I do a lot of traveling and have checked several places off of our bucket list but Thailand has still eluded us due to the cost and time commitment involved. We will make it some day though!
